Extreme cold weather

I live in Canada. It's winter. It gets cold. During the night it's about -20°C1.

It seems like everyone in the city of Toronto is yacking about the "extreme" cold weather we're having.

People in Saskatoon and Edmonton are laughing at us. So are people in Ottawa and Montreal. It's embarrassing.

1. That's -4°F if you live in Belize or the United States of America.

Well put. -16C right now in Guelph but that's Winter. Last year everybody in the GTA complained it was too 'warm', now it is 'extremely' cold. No wonder that people in the East and in the Prairies are laughing at us (let alone our friends in Churchill, Manitoba). With the sun out now it is actually quite beautiful - nice, crisp, clean air.

-10°C here at the moment, but it will drop during the night. And to think that the first half of January looked like early spring...
